TANZANIA, Dar es Salaam The Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) says the 32.6bn/- sponsorship extension contract with NBC is pegged to hype football standards in the country.
The five year new deal begins from the 2023/24 season all the way to the 2027/28 campaign.
The lucrative contract has been completed in Tanga on Friday afternoon by TFF president Wallance Karia and NBC Managing Director Theobald Sabi.
Also, with the signing, NBC have been given naming rights of the Championship League and League One which they are also financing.
Again, they are going to finance TFF Youth League which is now set to be named NBC Youth League.
Sports fraternity have lauded this deal saying it is set to amplify the league to great standards.
“Football is all about money, this contract is going to uplift further the status of our league and make it stronger,” says renowned football coach Jamhuri Kihwelo.
