NBC marks Samia award with renewed support
DODOMA: The National Bank of Commerce (NBC) has congratulated President Samia Suluhu Hassan, on receiving a prestigious honorary award from the Parliament. The esteemed recognition highlights her remarkable contributions to driving the nation’s development forward.
In light of this honor, the bank has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting President Samia’s initiatives by enhancing collaboration with both governmental bodies and the private sector. The aim is to successfully execute a variety of strategic projects designed to provide tangible benefits to the Tanzanian populace through advanced financial services.
During the awards ceremony held over the weekend at the parliamentary grounds in Dodoma, NBC’s Managing Director, Theobald Sabi, expressed his admiration for President Samia’s trailblazing achievements. Among the noteworthy examples cited by Sabi was NBC’s contribution to the Tanga Water Authority’s (Tanga-UWASA) bond issuance. This initiative, aimed at enhancing water infrastructure in the Tanga region, showcases the bank’s proactive approach in addressing critical needs within the community.
“The Tanga-UWASA bond issuance project is just a snapshot of our extensive involvement in national development,” he emphasized, demonstrating NBC’s active engagement in tackling pressing societal issues through financial consultancy services and support.
