DODOMA: THE Prime Minister’s Office has continued to provide education to residents of Dodoma at the ongoing Nane Nane Exhibition in Dodoma, including the effects of child labour.
In addition, the residents have had the opportunity to be informed about the hazardous work children do that leads to the lack of their basic rights, such as access to education, health, protection from abuse, participation in sports, and the right to a good upbringing.

Speaking, the Senior Labor Officer from the Prime Minister’s Office, Oddo Hekela, said they have continued to educate the public through these exhibitions by reminding the community that child labor under the age of 14 is a legal offense.
“It is the responsibility of everyone in society to ensure that children are raised in a safe environment that provides them with the opportunity to grow healthily, educationally, and morally.”
