Kaze leaves ‘Southern Killers’

LINDI: Burundian trainer Cedric Kaze has resigned as Namungo Head Coach effective Sunday.

Through his Instagram page, the tactician writes: “I have decided as of today (Sunday, 22 October 2023) to resign as Namungo Head Coach.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank the management, my fellow colleagues of the technical staff and players for their commitment, support.

“I would finish by thanking fans who have been always supportive…I wish the team the best of luck for the future.”

He leaves the club following series of unconvincing results as they have not won any single match in six games of the progressing Premier League season.

They currently sit on 14th place with 3 points in the bag and have lost three games plus drawing the other three fixtures.
