Nabi at FAR Rabat: “I’m ready for new challenge

After taking charge of Moroccan champions FAR Rabat, former Young Africans coach Nasreddine Nabi says he is ready for new challenge.

Nabi sealed a two-year deal to parade at the club looking certain to drive the team further in both domestic and international engagements.

FAR Rabat are one of the successful teams in Morocco and are the reigning champions of the country’s premier league.

They clinched last season’s league silverware after accumulating 67 points from 30 matches while runners-up Wydad Casablanca gained 66 points from the same number of matches.

Founded in 1958, FAR Rabat are the first Moroccan side to win the CAF Champions League (CAF CL) title in 1985 and CAF Confederation Cup (CAF CC) in 2005.

They are nicknamed ‘Black Army’ and their main rivals are Wydad Casablanca, Raja Casablanca as well as FUS Rabat.
