Mufti urges Muslims to observe strong moral values after Ramadan

DAR ES SALAAM: TANZANIA’S Muslims have been urged to continue practicing the good deeds they learned and observed during the Holy Month of Ramadan throughout the remaining 11 months of the year, as a way of demonstrating genuine devotion and strong moral values built during the fasting period.

The call was made by the Mufti and Chief Sheikh of Tanzania, Sheikh Dr. Abubakar Zubeir Bin Ally, while speaking at an iftar event organized by CRDB Bank.

The event was held at the Super Dome hall in Masaki, Dar es Salaam.

In his address, the Mufti encouraged Muslims to reflect on themselves and ask whether they would be able to maintain the good practices they observed during Ramadan even after the holy month ends.

Meanwhile, the Chief Executive Officer of CRDB Bank, Dr. Abdulmajid Nsekela, said the iftar event was part of expressing gratitude to the bank’s customers, whose contributions have played a significant role in its success and helped it remain among the leading banks in Tanzania.
