Mtibwa Sugar downsize Singida Stars

CHARLES Ilanfya’s goal in the 63rd minute helped Mtibwa Sugar claim victory over Singida Big Stars in hotly contested Premier League match at Manungu Complex in Morogoro on Tuesday.

The victory earned Mtibwa Sugar twelve points from their eight-game onslaught.

They have won three and drawn three games while losing twice to Young Africans and Kinondoni Municipal Council.

Mtibwa Sugar’s opponent Singida Big Stars’ have dropped to tenth place after collecting eight points from six games they played.

Singida Big Stars, who started the league in a high tone, have lost their winning consistency after picking two draws and succumbing two losses.

Before losing to Mtibwa Sugar, Singida Big Stars also lost to Azam.
