“We will be with the President throughout the tour here in Morogoro, along with our Minister, Hon. Pindi Chana, and legal aid assistants at the district and regional levels. Wherever the President goes, if there is anyone facing legal issues, we will take up their cases and work on them,” she said.

“Through this tour, we have already provided legal assistance to various citizens, including the Maasai community, with whom we have engaged in several locations to offer legal education on their recurring land disputes,” Beatrice added.

She mentioned that while some lawyers are on this tour, President Samia has also dispatched other lawyers through the Mama Samia Legal Aid campaign to provide legal aid services at the Nane Nane agricultural exhibitions in Dodoma and Morogoro.

Beatrice noted that the team of lawyers arrived in Morogoro mid this week and will continue to serve various citizens facing legal issues.

Since their arrival at the Nane Nane exhibition grounds, hundreds of citizens have benefited from legal assistance offered by the Mama Samia Legal Aid.

President Samia is on an official working tour in the region to inspect and review various development projects across the Morogoro region. So far, she has visited the districts of Gairo, Kilosa, Mvomero, and tomorrow, Sunday, she is expected to tour Kilombero district.

“Hiring a lawyer is very expensive, so when services like these are brought closer to the people, especially here at the exhibitions and for free, it is a very comforting and commendable initiative,” Lubeja said.
