DAR ES SALAAM: The Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Information, Culture, Arts and Sports, Mr Gerson Msigwa, has called on the staff of Tanzania Standard Newspapers (TSN) Ltd to embrace innovation to boost productivity.
Mr Msigwa, who also serves as the Chief Government Spokesperson, made the call in Dar es Salaam on Friday during a visit to the TSN headquarters, where he inspected the ongoing construction of the commercial printing project.
He commended the TSN staff for their diligent performance and encouraged them to adapt to rapid technological changes and innovate to improve efficiency.

He assured the staff that the government would continue supporting TSN to facilitate its operations, while also urging them to align their work with the company’s objectives.
Mr Msigwa noted that TSN, the publishers of Daily News, HabariLEO, and SpotiLEO, which have a strong presence on websites and social media platforms, plays a critical role in advancing government initiatives, including the clean energy agenda.
