Mpanzu claims he has more to offer

SIMBA’S forward, Elie Mpanzu.

DAR ES SALAAM: SIMBA’S forward, Elie Mpanzu, has expressed confidence that he has not yet showcased his full potential at the club.

The Congolese international, who joined the Tanzanian giants during the mid-season transfer window as a free agent after his contract with AS Vita Club in the DR Congo Premier League expired, believes there is more to come from him.

Since joining Simba, Mpanzu has made appearances in both the Mainland Premier League and the Federation Cup, scoring three goals in the league.

However, the player feels he has only scratched the surface of what he can achieve with his new team.

Speaking recently in Dar es Salaam, Mpanzu said, “I started the season in the middle of the campaign, so I can’t speak too much about my performance. But I believe I haven’t even shown 80 per cent of my ability yet.

It will take me a little more time to fully adapt to the league and its environment.” Simba SC is preparing for their upcoming quarter-final clash in the CAF Confederation Cup against Egypt’s Al Masry, scheduled for April 2, 2025.
