More than 300 youth to join Tanzania Immigration Department

DODOMA: THE Tanzania Immigration Department has announced the selection of 331 young recruits who successfully passed the screening process conducted on January 15, 2025.

In a statement released on Wednesday, the Commissioner General of Immigration directed the selected candidates to report for training on March 1, 2025, at the Raphael Kubaga Immigration Training College in Boma Kichakamiba, Mkinga District, Tanga Region.

Additionally, candidates recruited through the Zanzibar Immigration Commissioner must report to the Southern Unguja Regional Immigration Office in Tunguu on Monday, February 24, 2025.

“Travel expenses from home to the training college will be borne by the recruits themselves. Additionally, all selected candidates will undergo medical examinations before commencing training, and those found unfit due to health issues will not be allowed to participate,” the statement warned.
