Mo kudos Yanga for making it to last 16 of CAF CC
Simba investor Mohamed Dewji ‘Mo’ has congratulated Young Africans for stepping into the last 16 of CAF Confederation Cup (CAF CC).
Via his twitter account, he writes: “Congratulations our traditional rivals, you have made Tanzania proud! Welcome to the big league.”
Simba and Yanga are the only envoys ready to fly high national colours in CAF Interclub games where they aim to reach far.
The Reds will parade in the group stage of the champions league whereas Yanga are in the best 16 of the confederation cup.
Also, the newly appointed Acting Sports Director Ally Mayay has acknowledged Yanga for their away success insisting that deploying two teams in the group stage of CAF managed contests is a big achievement.
A 79th minute left-footed strike by substitute Stephanie Aziz Ki was enough to steer further the Jangwani based club in the contest courtesy of a slim 1-0 away victory against Club Africain at Stade Olympique de Rades in Tunis, Tunisia on Wednesday evening.
