INDIA: Halima Kopwe, representing Tanzania, has achieved a significant milestone by advancing to the list of top 10 finalists in the Beauty with a Purpose competition of Miss World, held in India.
The journey to crown Miss World 2024 began in February, with delegates from across the globe participating in the prestigious event.
The final round and crowning ceremony will take place on March 9, 2024, at the Jio World Convention Center in Mumbai, India.
Joining Miss Kopwe in the top 10 are representatives from other nations, including Audrey Vanessa from Indonesia, Priyanka Rani Joshi from Nepal, Nursena Say from Turkey, Krystyna Pyszková from Czech Republic, Sophi Shamie from Ukraine, Lesego Chombo from Botswana, Hannah Karema from Uganda, Leticia Frota from Brazil, and Ache Abrahams from Trinidad and Tobago.
Miss World 2023 marks the 71st edition of the prestigious pageant, which commenced on February 18, 2024, in New Delhi, India, and is currently underway.
At the culmination of the event, Karolina Bielawska, the reigning Miss World from Poland, will pass on her title to her successor.
