Minister revokes appointment of RUWASA manager

Minister of Water, Jumaa Aweso has revoked appointment of Dodoma Regional Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency (RUWASA) manager, Engineer Godfrey Mbabaye for failure to discharge his duties diligently.

Mr Aweso exercised his power under Water Supply and Sanitation Services Act No. 5 of 2019.

A statement issued on Wednesday stated that Mr Aweso has also instructed the Ministry’s Permanent Secretary Engineer Nadhifa Kemikimba to form a team of experts to examine challenges hindering execution of water projects in Dodoma Region.

The Minister added that the anticipated team will also be responsible in appraising performance of all RUWASA District managers in Dodoma Region.
