MBEYA: MBEYA City FC is preparing for their official club day celebrations, scheduled for this Saturday at CCM Sokoine Memorial Stadium.

The event will feature the introduction of new players, the unveiling of the club’s new kit and a friendly match against Zambian Premier League side Real Nakonde FC.

Mbeya City FC Managing Director, Ally Nnunduma, shared that preparations are nearly complete.

The event will also highlight the presentation of the full squad and technical staff.

The team is currently in a training camp in Mwakaleli, Tukuyu district, to prepare for the upcoming Championship League season.

Nnunduma noted that the camp has been beneficial for the team cohesion and focused training.

The squad will return to Mbeya to prepare for the friendly match against Real Nakonde.

The club has also strengthened its squad with the addition of Nigerian goalkeeper Olonade Nathaniel, expected to provide a significant boost.

Team Manager Mwagane Yeya emphasised the importance of blending experience with youthful energy for the new season.

The training camp has been instrumental in building a solid foundation for the upcoming challenges.
