Mayele-Sabilo duel in Yanga vs Mbeya

THE 14th round of NBC Premier League continues today in three venues involving six in a fierce chase for maximum points.

It’s Fiston Mayele against Sixtus Sabilo showdown in the today’s game at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam where leaders Young Africans are seeking to stamp a three-point gap at the summit of the table against Mbeya City.

At Liti Stadium in Singida, Dodoma Jiji host Namungo as the both teams eye to recover from defeats they suffered in their previous games.

Dodoma went down 2-0 to Yanga at the same venue whereas Namungo suffered a 1-0 loss to Azam at Majaliwa Stadium in Lindi hence each of them is salivating to stamp a win and collect maximum points in the process.

From 12 games played by Dodoma Jiji, they have cherished two wins, three draws and seven defeats thereby claiming 9 points in the process while Namungo after 12 encounters they have managed four wins, three draws and five losses to annex 15 points.

At Uhuru Stadium in Dar es Salaam, Ruvu Shooting will have to give answers from questions asked by Singida Big Stars in another interesting premier league fixture of the day.

All is not well with Ruvu Shooting as after 13 outings, they have smiled to three wins, two draws and eight defeats making them among three teams which have lost more games (8) so far in the marathon. Others are Polisi Tanzania and Ihefu.

For Singida Big Stars, they have grabbed 21 points from 12 games courtesy of six triumphs, three draws and three upsets to produce 21 produce. Their heaviest defeat so far was a 4-1 by Yanga in a recent nerve racking fixture in the city.
