Matinyi is new Temeke DC

PRESIDENT Samia Suluhu Hassan has made minor changes of District Commissioners (DCs) including revoking the appointment of Temeke DC Mwanahamisi Munkunda with immediate effect.

According to a statement released by the Directorate of Presidential Communications on Sunday, President Samia appointed Mr Mobhare Matinyi as new Temeke District Commissioner.

The Head of State also revoked the appointment of Abel Busalama as Kilindi District Commissioner.

The post will now be filled by Hashim Mgandilwa, who was Tanga District Commissioner.

The statement further said that President Samia has appointed Mr James Kaji as new Tanga District Commissioner.
