The Disciplinary Committee of Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) has slapped life bans to Kitayosce chairman Yusuph Kitumbo and coach Ulimboka Mwakingwe for match fixing.
According to an official statement from the federation, the duo has been found guilty for engaging in match fixing during a championship game between Fountain Gate versus Kitayosce played in Gairo, Morogoro on April 29th.
It further reveals that the verdict has been imposed in regard to section 73(9) (b) of TFF code of ethics, 2021 edition.
Also, the statement indicates that Kitumbo could not turn up for the hearing session of the case without providing any excuse.
On the other hand, Mwakingwe presented his defense in writing.
