‘Malkia wa Nguvu’ entrepreneurs offered to learn modern business skills in China,Türkiye

DAR ES SALAAM: WOMEN entrepreneurs in Tanzania are set to benefit from increased access to business knowledge, affordable financing and opportunities to learn about international markets following a new partnership between CRDB Bank and Clouds Media Group under the Malkia wa Nguvu programme. The initiative is designed to help women grow competitive businesses by strengthening their entrepreneurial skills, expanding market access and exposing them to global best practices.

Speaking during the launch of the partnership in Dar es Salaam, CRDB Bank’s Acting Director of Branches and Business, Musa Lwila, said the bank believes no strong economy can be built without the active participation of women in production, trade and investment. He noted that women own more than 30 percent of entrepreneurial businesses in Tanzania, making it essential to provide them with capital, business education, market opportunities and a supportive environment to accelerate their growth.

As part of the programme, selected women entrepreneurs will travel to China and Türkiye to learn modern production techniques, product packaging, technology adoption and effective business management practices. The study tours are expected to help participants improve product quality and competitiveness while unlocking opportunities in regional and international markets.

Lwila said that the CRDB Malkia initiative also provides women with dedicated business and investment accounts, affordable loans, insurance services, digital financial solutions and entrepreneurship training.
