DAR ES SALAAM: Airtel Money, in collaboration with Jubilee Insurance and Axieva, has extended Afya Bima health insurance services to residents of Mbagala in Dar es Salaam, ensuring access to medical treatment and reducing the burden of healthcare costs.
Some Mbagala residents who have enrolled in the service expressed their relief at being able to access affordable healthcare and having assurance of medical treatment at any time.
“I am very happy today to receive Afya Bima health insurance services for a small amount of money; this will help me and my family get medical treatment anytime without worry,” said Salma Michael, a resident of Mbagala.
“My dream of having health insurance has come true, and I am assured of medical treatment at any time, I am truly grateful to Airtel Money for bringing us this affordable insurance for Tanzanians,” explained Pascal Bwire, a resident of Mbagala.
Airtel Money Services Manager, Hellen Lyimo, stated that, in collaboration with Jubilee Insurance and Axieva , they have introduced affordable insurance starting at three hundred Tanzanian shillings, providing an opportunity for every Tanzanian to benefit from medical services through Health Insurance.
“We have made it easy for Tanzanians and Airtel Money users to access health insurance, together with Jubilee Insurance and Axieva, we assure Tanzanians of medical services at over 600 centers nationwide at very affordable costs,” emphasized Hellen.
The packages offered by Airtel Money, in conjunction with Jubilee Insurance, include Afya Poa, Afya Supa, and Afya Dhahabu.
