Local contractor commits to serve diligently

DAR ES SALAAM: THE Director of Specialised Engineering Tanzania, Arun Gottipati, has affirmed his company’s commitment to partnering with the Tanzanian government to meet the infrastructure needs of Tanzanian people.
He made the affirmations during the 2025 Annual Construction Stakeholders’ Consultative Meeting graced by the Minister for Works, Abdallah Ulega, who called on the Contractors Registration Board (CRB) to take stern measures against incompetent contractors who cause financial losses and negatively impact both the government and the public by failing to complete projects on time.
“We are proud to support Tanzania’s development goals and will continue to collaborate with the government in delivering quality services to citizens,” said Gottipati

He added the aim of the meeting is to tackle challenges and address the key major ways of implementing various projects especially government projects.
During the meeting, Minister Ulega called on the Contractors Registration Board (CRB) to take stern measures against incompetent contractors who cause financial losses and negatively impact both the government and the public by failing to complete projects on time.
“Local contractors must rise to the occasion. They hold a major responsibility in driving the country’s economy and improving community livelihoods,” Ulega stated
