Lambert Vissot stresses modern equipment as key to gemstone mining success

MOROGORO: A RENOWNED gemstone mining expert, Mr Lambert Vissot, famously known as “The Gem Hunter,” has emphasized the vital role of modern, high-capacity equipment in achieving success in gemstone extraction.

Mr Vissot, who oversees mining operations at Ruby International Limited—a company headquartered in Morogoro Region with a branch in Bangkok, Thailand—explained that the mining and sale of red and pink spinel gemstones depend heavily on advanced equipment.

He highlighted that the use of modern tools has been a cornerstone of the company’s achievements and its ability to meet ambitious goals.

“Modern machinery and equipment are essential, and it is for this reason that we have made substantial progress in our operations,” Mr Vissot stated.

In addition to advanced tools, he noted that his extensive experience in discovering gemstones has been a critical factor contributing to both his personal success and that of the company.
