Kombo sees good progress in the Foreign Affairs Ministry’s major projects      

ARUSHA: THE Minister for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, Mahmoud Thabit Kombo, has noted good progress in the construction of major development projects under his ministry in Arusha.

 

During his tour, the Minister visited the construction site of the Mount Kilimanjaro International Conference Centre (MKICC) at Kijenge and the ongoing construction of the office building for the African Court on Human and Peoples’ Rights at Lakilaki area in Arusha.

The modern facility is expected to enhance the Court’s operational efficiency and provide a conducive working environment for judicial officers and staff.

The MKICC project is designed to complement the city’s growing reputation as the diplomatic capital of the East African region, hosting numerous regional and continental institutions.
