KKKT launches christian learning website as Pastor unveils evangelism book
DAR ES SALAAM: The Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania (KKKT) has launched a digital learning website offering Christian and entrepreneurship teachings, alongside the unveiling of a new book by Pastor Allen Misso to support evangelism efforts across the country.
The website, Yesu Kristo Mponyaji, is designed to provide users with a wide range of Christian teachings, sermons, discipleship materials and entrepreneurship lessons, enabling people to learn wherever they are through digital technology.
Speaking during the launch in Dar es Salaam, Pastor Misso said the growing use of digital platforms presents a unique opportunity to spread the Gospel while equipping people with practical knowledge that can improve their livelihoods.
“Today, many people spend most of their time online. We want digital platforms to become places where people can grow spiritually and also gain knowledge that empowers them economically,” he said.
He said the website will be accessible to users in Tanzania and abroad, allowing them to study biblical teachings and entrepreneurship courses at their convenience.
During the event, Pastor Misso also launched his book, Yesu Kristo Mponyaji, saying proceeds from its sales will be used to strengthen evangelism activities across the country.
He said the funds will be used to purchase evangelism equipment, including guitars, microphones, generators and other tools needed to spread the Gospel in different communities.
According to Misso, the book seeks to help readers understand Jesus Christ not only as the Saviour but also as the Healer.
Speaking at the event, Tumaini University sponsor and KKKT Digital Coordinator, Jofrey Kilimba, said the new digital platform will widen access to Christian teachings and practical skills by enabling users to study from their homes, workplaces or any other location with internet access.
He said embracing digital technology would help the Church reach more people and respond to the changing ways in which communities access information and education.
