Kinondoni DC hails Dough Works for creating jobs for 800 youth

DAR ES SALAAM: KINONDONI District Commissioner, Saad Mtambule, said today, March 30, 2026 that the investment by Dough Works Ltd has  created over 800 jobs for youth which clearly supports the economic growth in the district.

Speaking during the launch of a new restaurant at Kunduchi Mall in Dar es Salaam, Mtambule emphasized that the government alone cannot employ everyone, highlighting the critical role of the private sector in driving economic development.

He noted that the investment aligns with government initiatives to strengthen public-private partnerships as a strategy for accelerating national development.

“We welcome this significant investment in our district. It is clear that the government cannot do everything on its own, and the private sector plays a vital role in job creation and economic growth,” said Mtambule.
