TANGA: KILINDI District Commissioner, Hashim Mgandilwa, has given all health facilities in the district a three-month deadline to implement a unified hospital management system to save time and improve service delivery for patients.
The hospital management system is a computer system that helps manage the information related to healthcare and aids in the job completion of healthcare providers effectively.
Mgandilwa issued this directive today while launching the system at Kilindi District Hospital, emphasizing that every health facility must install the system within the given timeframe.

He further stated that the system would help eliminate complaints from citizens who face challenges with healthcare providers.
“When a patient visits the hospital for treatment, the doctor will not have to ask about their medical history, as all information will be available in the system. This will streamline service delivery and save time in attending to patients,” said Mgandilwa.
