He also advise them to be good DUCE ambassadors wherever they go and that the doors are always open when they want to come back to pursue further their studies.
A total of 1,835 students have been decorated of whom, 891 are men and 944 are women.
The best overall student for DUCE’s 2023 graduation ceremony is Sadi Hamis who has scooped a 4.9 GPA in the Bachelor of Education Science.
“To those we are leaving behind, continue to work hard in your studies…have the spirit to go to the library to study and not rely to be fed by lectures alone.
“Also, take good care of your health and remember that there is a deadly disease of HIV/AIDS. Do not be involved in drugs,” he says.
Due to his incredible performance, Saidi has been presented with his certificate by UDSM’s Chancellor Dr. Kikwete at the ceremony while the rest will be communicated on how they will receive their academic certificates.
