Kibondo lifts lid on how 46.4bn spent in district’s economic transformation

KIGOMA: THE Kibondo District Council in the Kigoma Region has announced that the 46.4/- billion allocated by the government has successfully funded major social projects, bringing significant economic transformation to the district, including a substantial increase in local government revenue.
Kibondo District Commissioner Colonel Agrey Magwaza, made this statement while presenting a report to the Kigoma Regional Political Committee, which visited the council to inspect development projects in the district.

Colonel Magwaza stated that the funds are part of the 11.5/- trillion allocated by the government for major and strategic projects across the Kigoma Region. He emphasized that the funding has not only boosted Kibondo’s economy but also strengthened various economic initiatives in the district.
