Kariakoo derby date confirmed as TPBL releases Premier League 2023/24 fixtures
TANZANIA, Dar es Salaam The nerve-wracking 2023/24 season traditional derby match between Simba versus Young Africans will be played on November 5th.
This is according to the full fixture that has been released by the Tanzania Premier League Board (TPLB) on Monday afternoon.
The first round clashes will be played on August 15th with six teams in action as Ihefu welcomes Geita Gold at Southern Highlands Estate Stadium in Mbarali, Mbeya.
Also, Namungo will face newly promoted side JKT Tanzania at Majaliwa Stadium in Lindi while Dodoma Jiji entertains Coastal Union at Jamhuri Stadium in Dodoma.
On August 16th, two games will be witnessed whereby new comers Mashujaa host Kagera at Lake Tanganyika Stadium in Kigoma while Azam face another fresh side in the league Tabora United at Azam Complex.
On August 17th, one game unfold at Manungu Complex in Morogoro as Mtibwa Sugar interface Simba and on August 22nd, Singida Fountain Gate welcome Tanzania Prisons.
Holders Yanga will begin title defence against KMC at Azam Complex in Dar es Salaam on August 23.
