Jury ready to hear appeal against Sabaya, two others

ARUSHA: Former Hai District Commissioner, Lengai Ole Sabaya and two others arrived at the Court of Appeal in Arusha on Wednesday morning as a jury set to hear an appeal by the State Attorney who is challenging the release of the trio.

The High Court of Arusha acquitted the trio after finding flaws in the armed robbery case; the decision forced the State Attorney to challenge the decision.

The case is before three judges namely, Justice Jacobs Mwambegele, Justice Ignas Kitusi and Leila Mgonya.
