Jokate graces St Kizito’s ‘Abundant Grace’ gala, calls on Tanzanians to uphold moral values

DAR ES SALAAM: Fashion icon and Director of Kidoti Foundation, Jokate Mwegelo, popularly known as Kidoti, has urged young people to uphold moral values, safeguard peace and cultivate a spirit of gratitude through giving.

Jokate made the remarks during the St Kizito Choir KMK Executive Gala held at Mlimani City in Dar es Salaam as part of celebrations marking 10 years of the theme, “Abundant Grace.”

The contributions formed part of a fundraising drive aimed at supporting the choir’s activities.

Speaking at the event, Jokate encouraged believers, particularly young people, to recognise the importance of giving to God, stressing that genuine giving is not determined by a person’s wealth but by a grateful heart.

She said people should not wait until they become wealthy before giving, noting that everyone can contribute according to the blessings they have received.

“Giving is a matter of the heart, not wealth. When you give, you will witness God’s blessings,” she said.
