John Bocco recalled for Tanzania CHAN qualifier

Bocco has been included in the Taifa Stars squad ahead of the reverse African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifiers against Uganda’s Cranes on Saturday.
The two sides meet in Kampala for the second leg battle with the best winner cruising to the finals to be played in Algeria next year.
Bocco has received a call after being dropped from the initial squad announced by former Stars coach, Kim Poulsen who was recently sacked and replaced by Zambian caretaker coach Honour Janza.
Taifa Stars go into the game with a 1-0 setback they suffered at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam last weekend which favoured the visitors as such, they will be compelled to win in order to book a space for the finals.
Already, Janza who was coaching Namungo before being appointed as a caretaker trainer for the senior team has described the return leg as a 50-50 affair.
“We will try our best to produce tangible results from the game. Football nowdays is dynamic as such, we can win in Uganda just like the way they won here,” Janza remarked.
