JITEGEMEE clinched the Dar es Salaam High Schools Basketball championship for boys as Juhudi won the girls’ category.
Jitegemee won the title after thrashing Juhudi 49-45 in boys final while as in the girls’ category, Juhudi outclassed Mtakuja 64-23.
Jitegemee qualified for the final after beating Azania 34-31 in the semis.
In the Girls semi-final stage, Juhudi eliminated High View with a 65-43 win.
Prior to the finals , Azam and Juhudi Secondary Schools had stamped authority after recording the unbeaten run in their respective groups in the boys category.
At the helm of Group A, Azania led with three consecutive wins.They beat Mtakuja Secondary School 58-23 and later defeated High View 27-22 points and completed their winning run with 44-4 win over Juhudi Jeshini Secondary.
The second are High View with two wins. They beat Mtakuja 48-15 and Juhudi Jeshini 50-17.
At third are Mtakuja, who have won only once against Juhudi Jeshini 35-15.
In Group B, Juhudi Secondary School commanded the log with three wins after beating Jitegemee 50-26 points, Tungi 71-12 and Tusiime 50-18.
