Izo Motors launches modern batteries, creates jobs for over 50 youths

DAR ES SALAAM: IZO Motors Company Limited has continued to contribute to youth employment by creating jobs for more than 50 young people through its battery and tire sales and distribution business, both wholesale and retail.

Speaking to journalists on May 12, 2026, the company’s Managing Director, Izo Mahenge, announced the official launch of the new izo Battery, a modern battery brand manufactured with advanced technology and high-quality standards for various uses.

Mahenge said the batteries are designed with strong power storage and supply capacity while offering long-lasting performance in different working environments.

“We have produced these batteries according to high-quality standards to ensure users receive efficient and reliable products. Business is competitive, so we have focused heavily on quality and uniqueness,” said Mahenge.

He further explained that the batteries are manufactured locally in Tanzania and are built to deliver durable performance without challenges, while encouraging Tanzanians to try the new product.

“Our company also provides distribution services across Tanzania, both in urban and rural areas, quickly and reliably according to customer needs,” he added.

On his part, izo Battery ambassador Dotto Magari said the batteries are modern and different from many traditional batteries because they do not require water.

He noted that the new technology aims to support business people, mechanics, motorists, and machine operators by providing powerful and durable batteries.

“These are modern batteries that do not use water and have the power to run vehicles, generators, grinding machines, and various motorized equipment. We encourage business owners and agents to work with us in distributing these products,” said Dotto Magari.

He added that the batteries will particularly benefit people in rural areas by providing strong, reliable, and efficient products for their daily activities.
