DAR ES SALAAM: TANZANIA’S U19 team secured a resounding 353-run victory over Mozambique in the ICC Men’s U19 World Cup Africa Division 2 Qualifier at Gymkhana Oval in Dar es Salaam on Tuesday.
This emphatic win marks Tanzania’s third consecutive triumph in the tournament, following their victories over Ghana and Nigeria.
Winning the toss and opting to bat first, Tanzania set a formidable target with a colossal score of 379 runs.
The batting lineup showcased exceptional skill and power, with right-handed batsman Karim Kiseto leading the charge.
Kiseto delivered a scintillating century, amassing 133 runs in a single innings.
