“Today’s signing signifies our shared vision to leverage our respective strengths and resources to address key societal challenges, especially in the ICT sector.

“As you understand, through the partnership, we aim to implement the two programs namely DigiTruck and Digital Accelerator to empower individuals, support local communities, and contribute to the overall development in Tanzania.”

“We have been here for around 18 years since 2006, thus, with our corporation, we have done corporate social responsibility (CSR) for almost 16 years in Tanzania,” he said.

“And I can give some examples, like we donated four ICT items in Tanzania, including the University of Dar es Salaam, the University of Dodoma, and other technical and information technology in Mbeya and here in Dar es Salaam,” he added.

Earlier, the telecom company hosted the Future Ready Summit, where it committed to close digital gaps in the country with collaboration of other partners, which share common values and responsibility in the country.
