How TTCL will smooth operations at newly launched PAPU offices

anzania Telecommunications Corporation (TTCL) has expressed a commitment to ensuring that all postal operations at the Pan African Postal Union (PAPU) headquarters are conducted digitally purposely to boost efficiency and transparency in the postal sector.

“We are committed to ensuring that all postal operations at the PAPU headquarters are conducted digitally.This will help to improve efficiency and transparency in the postal sector in Tanzania and African continent at large.”,” said Mr Laibu Leonard, Business Manager at TTCL.

Speaking at a 41st PAPU Council Meeting which was held from August 29 to September 2, 2023, in Arusha, Mr Laibu Leonard, a business manager at TTCL said the telecom is providing free wireless internet with speeds of up to 10Gb per second to all participants at the meeting.

The company, according to him, is seizing the opportunity to promote its other digital services, such as the National Optic Fibre Backbone (NICTBB) and the National Internet Data Centre (NIDC).

Mr Leonard added that the digitization of postal operations is essential for the future of the postal sector in Africa since the process will help to improve efficiency, transparency, and customer services.
