Delivering a special message to students on Friday, the envoy said students should communicate with their respective universities to know the new introduced regulations regarding COVID-19.

“For instance, everyone who lives in China right now must acquire a health code, which he must download on his/her phone. Health code is what allows you to enter various public places like entering the university, dormitories, hospitals, shops, restaurants, etc. Without the health code, you are not allowed to access any services,” Ambassador Kairuki said.

Another introduced condition, according to the envoy, is anyone living in China must test for Covid- 19 after every three days and added: “If three days pass the health without testing health code will not allow you to get permission deny you an access to any service you would need.”
