Halotel to boost use of mobile money services in new campaign

OVER 130 Halopesa customers are set to walk away with various prizes in a newly launched promotion dubbed ‘Shinda Tena na Halopesa’.
The Halotel mobile company launched the campaign, which will run for three months, on Wednesday in Dar es Salaam.
During the launch, Halotel’s Deputy Managing Director Magesa Wandwi said the promotion would see 120 customers win cash prizes daily, 12 scooping Smart Televisions and three customers taking home brand new Bajaj every month, when transacting with Halopesa mobile money.
Mr Wandwi stated that the promotion campaign is meant to spice up more and more usage of HaloPesa services and attract those who have not yet started using mobile money services to do so.
Encouraging more Tanzanians to use these services would eventually widen the financial inclusion in Tanzania, he said.
“HaloPesa is delighted to launch this camping to its customers today and will continue to think of much more great ways of improving the mobile money services for the betterment of our customers,” he added.
He said the Halotel was continuing to motivate their customers by bringing creative products and services.
