Halotel commits to invest in technology that meets Tanzania’s evolving digital needs

DAR ES SALAAM: THE Managing Director of Halotel Tanzania, Mr. Bui Van Thang, has visited the company’s exhibition stand at the 50th Dares Salaam International Trade Fair (Sabasaba 2026), reaffirming Halotel’s commitment to investing in technology and innovation to deliver high-quality services that meet the evolving digital needs of Tanzanians.

The visit took place on July 8, 2026, at the Mwalimu Julius Nyerere Grounds in Dares Salaam. Bui Van Thang was accompanied by Halotel Deputy managing director Ms. Tran Thi Thuy Dung, while the delegation was led by the Director chief of center Mr. Abdallah Salum, on a tour of the exhibition grounds and the Halotel stand.

During the visit, the executives explored a range of digital products and solutions showcased by the company, including its 5G network, Halotel Fibre home internet services, HaloPesa mobile financial services, and other innovative digital solutions designed to simplify communication, business operations, and everyday life for Tanzanians.

Speaking during the tour, Mr. Bui Van Thang said Halotel will continue investing in modern infrastructure and innovation to ensure customers receive reliable, high-quality services that keep pace with rapid technological advancements.

In addition to touring the stand, the Managing Director met with Halotel employees serving visitors and customers at the exhibition, commending them for their dedication to providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive experience throughout the trade fair.

He also interacted with customers visiting the Halotel stand and joined the customer service team in attending to them, witnessing firsthand how the company’s products and services continue to make communication, business, and daily activities easier through technology.

Meanwhile, Halotel Tanzania’s Marketing Manager, Aidat Lwiza, encouraged Tanzanians to continue visiting the Halotel stand at the Sabasaba Trade Fair to learn more about the company’s wide range of products and services.

She said the exhibition provides an important opportunity for visitors to engage with Halotel experts, learn about the latest technologies, and benefit from special promotional offers available throughout the event.

The 50th Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair runs until July 13, 2026, with Halotel continuing to welcome visitors to its stand to explore its digital services and innovative technologies aimed at improving the lives of Tanzanians.
