Govt Instructs CBE to train innovative professionals for the tourism sector
DAR ES SALAAM: THE Tanzanian government has asked the College of Business Education (CBE) to train innovative and highly skilled professionals capable of addressing challenges facing the tourism sector, as part of the strategy to achieve the National Development Vision 2050.
The Deputy Minister for Industry and Trade, Dennis Londo made the call during his inspection of the site planned for the CBE Kilimanjaro Campus in Hai District on Wednesday.

Addressing officials of the college, he said that the campus is expected to provide solutions to structural and professional challenges in the tourism sector by preparing experts in the tourism business and related fields such as hospitality, entrepreneurship, tourism marketing, and tourism business management.
Meanwhile, CBE Principal Prof Edda Lwoga stated that the Kilimanjaro campus will be the fifth for the college in the country and will help increase student enrollment in the business sector.
