GF Trucks and Equipment claims the best exhibition award at the 50th DITF

DAR ES SALAAM: GF Trucks and Equipment has won the Best Exhibition Pavilion award at the 50th Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair (Sabasaba), a recognition the company says will motivate it to continue investing in innovation and technology for the benefit of Tanzanians.
Speaking after receiving the award, GF Trucks and Equipment Commercial and Marketing Director, Salman Karmal, said the company was honoured to be recognised at one of the country’s largest trade exhibitions, noting that this marks the second consecutive year it has won the Best Exhibition Pavilion award.
He said that since its establishment 19 years ago, GF Trucks and Equipment has consistently participated in the Sabasaba Trade Fair, using the platform to showcase new products, services and technologies that meet the evolving needs of the market.
“It is a great honour for us to receive this Best Exhibition Booth award. This achievement gives us the motivation to continue innovating and delivering high-quality products and services to our customers,” Salman said.
He noted that at this year’s exhibition, the company is showcasing a wide range of products, including passenger vehicles, trucks, construction equipment, as well as newly developed drilling rigs and bulldozers under the GF brand.
According to Salman, the equipment was researched and designed in Tanzania to meet local environmental conditions and market requirements, enabling it to perform efficiently across the mining, construction and infrastructure development sectors.
He added that the company has also strengthened its investment in environmentally friendly technologies by introducing Hyundai electric vehicles, a move aimed at reducing fuel consumption, promoting environmental conservation and supporting the global transition to clean energy.

He said the launch of GF-branded machinery designed and manufactured in Tanzania demonstrates the company’s commitment to supporting the government’s drive to strengthen local industries and promote the use of domestically manufactured products.
Salman thanked the organisers of the Sabasaba Trade Fair for recognising the company’s contribution and invited members of the public and other stakeholders to visit the GF Trucks and Equipment pavilion before the exhibition concludes to explore the latest technologies and benefit from special promotional offers.
He reaffirmed that GF Trucks and Equipment will continue investing in innovation, advanced technology and the production of high-quality equipment to support the growth of Tanzania’s transport, construction and mining sectors.
