Get ready as TMA forecasts another five days of heavy rains

DAR ES SALAAM: The Tanzania Meteorological Authority (TMA) has forecasted another five-day period of heavy rains over some areas including Tanzania.

A latest weather body’s forecast issued on Saturday suggested that the rains are expected over some areas of Tanga, Pwani (Including Mafia Isles), Dar es Salaam and Lindi regions together with Unguja and Pemba Isles.

Impacts expected, according to TMA, are localized water over few areas and disruption of some economic activities.

“Please be prepared,” TMA insisted.
