Dr Biteko seeks the Bukombe constituency’s re-election

GEITA: THE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy, Dr. Doto Mashaka Biteko, who was the Member of Parliament for Bukombe Constituency, has collected nomination forms to seek re-election as MP for the constituency.

Dr. Biteko collected and returned the forms to the Secretary of the Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) in Bukombe District, Mr. Leonard Yesaya Mwakalukwa, earlier today, June 29, 2025.

The process of collecting nomination forms at CCM offices is ongoing across the country, with various aspirants continuing to come forward to collect forms for parliamentary and councilor positions.

Gambo eyes Arusha Urban re-election

ARUSHA: THE outgoing Member of Parliament for Arusha Urban, Mrisho Mashaka Gambo, today, June 29, 2025, has collected nomination forms to run again for the parliamentary seat in the same constituency.

Mr Gambo has served as the Member of Parliament for Arusha Urban from 2020 to 2025, fully dedicating himself to serving the Tanzanian citizens.

Idd Azan joins Kinondoni Parliamentary Race

DAR ES SALAAM: Former Member of Parliament for Kinondoni constituency, Idd Azan, has today, June 29, 2025,  collected nomination forms seeking a return to the parliamentary seat.

Speaking during the process, Azan said he had remained silent for a long time due to the internal regulations of the ruling party, Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM), as the constituency already had an MP serving during the past five years.

“I have collected my nomination form. I had been silent for a long time, but I’ve decided to step forward because it is now the right time,” he said.
