On his side, Geita Gold FC Skipper, Yusuph Mhilu said his team is well prepared for the match. “This league has its challenges; every team wants to win and we will be at home, so we will make every effort to win, because after this match we go away, which is often difficult” he said.

The former Kagera Sugar FC and Simba SC winger said the preparation is good and their coach has corrected their mistakes.

“Most of the players in the team are new and our coach is new, he came with his philosophy and found new players, so at first it was difficult for him to recognise what kind of players he has and how he could use them,” he said.

Geita Gold FC are now leading the Championship standing with 14 points after six matches. They have won four and drawn two matches.
