Meanwhile, the action in the Premier League continues today with six teams hunting for maximum points as the season slowly meanders to the finishing line.

In an early match, Ihefu face Mashujaa at Liti Stadium in Singida in a game set to kick-off from 2:00 PM with both sides salivating for essential three points.

It will be the first encounter for Ihefu to host at Liti Stadium where they have picked as their home turf for their remaining league matches of the season.

The other clash of the day sees Geita Gold facing Kagera Sugar at Nyankumbu Stadium in Geita.
Meanwhile ALEXANDER SANGA report from Mwanza that Singida Fountain Gate Assistant Coach Nizar Khalfan has predicted a tough encounter against Azam FC as the two meet in the Mainland Premier League match at CCM Kirumba Stadium here in Mwanza today.

Speaking during a press conference yesterday at NBC Bank Mwanza branch, Khalfan said his team is ready for the tough duel.

Singida Fountain Gate have shifted from their usual base Liti Stadium to CCM Kirumba venue where they will stage all their home fixtures of the campaign.

‘’We have made the final preparations, we know the importance of this match, it is a difficult for us, but we have prepared well,’’ said Khalfan.

“Sometimes it happens in football, we have been struggling a bit. Our players are doing well, they are starting to get back to their best and regain confidence, I believe our fans will enjoy it,’’ he insisted.

On his part, Azam FC Assistant Coach Bruno Ferry said his team is also ready to face Singida Fountain Gate.
“We know it is a difficult game. Singida has a good team with talented players, we have prepared well for that and we believe we will have a good game because if we need to get good results, we have to work hard as team and score goals,” he noted.

“We don’t get enough time to prepare as there are many matches in a row, but we have to adapt to the situation we are in, and turn to our favour. We need to change a few things in the squad and see how we go about,” added Ferry.
