Fountain Gate Princess eye squad improvement

DAR ES SALAAM: FOUNTAIN Gate Princess aim to strengthen their squad through strategic player recruitment during the transfer window to excel in the Women’s Premier League.

Fountain Gate Princess co-ordinator, Issa Mbuzi told the ‘Daily News’ that they will recruit five players to add value to their squad as they eye a successful 2023/2024 season.

He said the needs have been outlined by Fountain Gate Princess Head Coach, Juma Masoud, who requested improvement in defence, midfield and attacking force. Mbuzi stated that they will not release any players unless there is an offer submitted or an agreement between their team and the interested team.

Mbuzi said their team had successfully marketed four of its players to the defending champions JKT Queens.

He named the players as Winfrida Gerald, Krista Bahela and Joyce Lema. The Fountain Gate Princess will be playing their Women’s Premier League match against Ceassia Queens on December 27th at the Jamhuri Stadium in Dodoma.

They will then play against Alliance Girls on January 2nd at the Nyamagana Stadium in Mwanza region. Finally, on January 10th, they will be confronting Yanga Princess at the Jamhuri Stadium in Dodoma region.
