Former Mwanza RC pledges to support Pamba Jiji despite his transfer to Simiyu

MWANZA: SIMIYU Regional Commissioner, Said Mtanda, has raised concerns among players, coaching staff, fans and football stakeholders in the country about the future of Pamba Jiji FC, saying his transfer from Mwanza to Simiyu will not end his role in the team.

Mtanda, who before moving to Simiyu was the Mwanza Regional Commissioner and guardian of Pamba Jiji, said he will continue and ensure that the things he started in the team are completed despite no longer being in a leadership position in Mwanza region.

Speaking today at the Mwanza Regional Commissioner’s office in Mwanza, Mtanda said his departure from Mwanza does not mean that he has abandoned Pamba Jiji, stressing that he will continue to be close to the team and its important issues.

He said among the things he will oversee is ensuring that the debts of those who joined the team in his honor are being addressed, along with other debts of the team.

 “I will ensure that all the things I started are completed. The debts of those who joined Pamba Jiji in my honor, as well as other debts of the team, I will follow up and ensure that they are completed, wherever I am,” said Mtanda.

The statement came at a time when Pamba Jiji is in a period of change following the departure of Mtanda Mwanza, who was closely involved in various efforts to strengthen the team and increase its competitiveness.

Mtanda urged the artists and Pamba technical bench not to give up, but to protect themselves with high morale, confidence and protect those fighting for the team in every game.

He said the team’s success requires unity and solidarity from the players, technical bench, fans, fans and other stakeholders.

In addition, he urged the people of Mwanza, Pamba Jiji fans and football lovers to continue supporting the team, emphasizing that his transfer to Simiyu should not be a reason for prayer for the club at this time.

 Mtanda said Pamba Jiji still has a chance to build a strong foundation and do well, so every stakeholder must fulfill their responsibility in protecting the team moving forward.

As for the players, he has urged them to use every game as an opportunity to show their abilities, until the last minute and protect the honor of the club and its fans.

He said that despite now serving in Simiyu, his heart to see Pamba Jiji succeed is still there, while promising to continue the team’s affairs and implement what he started in Mwanza.
