DAR ES SALAAM: Alkhoums’s midfielder Yacoub Sidi has applauded the marvelous step that Tanzanian football clubs have made noting that just in two years; the country’s Premier League has become one of the best in Africa in terms of the quality of its clubs.
According to the Mauritania citizen, the Tanzanian League has made massive growth that is vividly seen worldwide especially in the African tournaments.
“Within two years Tanzania teams have been fiercely capturing people’s attention. Progress attained by the NBC league is clearly seen by everyone,” he noted.
The midfielder who has played with Young Africans famous strikers, Fiston Mayele and Jesus Moloko when they were As Vital of DR Congo said that though he has never played for Tanzania teams, it is a pleasure to see his fellows play.
“What I admire the most in the Tanzanian league is its incredible loyalty to football fans,” he stated.
Moreover, the midfielder noted that it is every player’s dream to play internationally, and he is glad to be among those who have lived to see their dreams come true.
