DAR ES SALAAM: Azam coach Bruno Ferry has clinched the Best Coach Award for March after outclassing Young Africans’ Miguel Gamondi and Zuberi Katwila of Mtibwa Sugar, according to a statement released by the Tanzania Premier League Board (TPLB) on Tuesday.
Ferry guided Azam to two wins in their three games played in March, with victories against Young Africans (2-1) and Geita Gold (1-0), along with a 1-1 draw against Coastal Union.
On the other hand, Young Africans playmaker Stephanie Aziz Ki won the Player of the Month award after beating Feisal Salum (Azam) and Clatous Chama (Simba).
Aziz Ki showcased superb performances in March, helping his team win three out of four games played and collect 9 points. Yanga defeated Ihefu (5-0), Geita Gold (1-0), and Namungo (3-1), but suffered a 1-2 loss to Azam.
The Best Stadium Manager Award has gone to Shabani Rajabu, the manager of Lake Tanganyika Stadium in Kigoma.
